THE LORRAINE CROSS

43.50 metres high, built in 1972 as a tribute to General de Gaulle, it is both a place of reverence and a prime location overlooking the Haute-Marne landscapes that de Gaulle loved so much.

LA BOISSERIE

Home of the De Gaulle family. Destroyed during the Second World War, then rebuilt, it welcomed the General and his family during his crossing of the desert from 1946 to 1958, saw the sealing of the Franco-German reconciliation (1958) and the General’s last days here in 1970.
