THE PITCHES
1. What are the arrival and departure times?
Pitches are available from 1 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 pm on the day of departure. If you have booked in advance, it is possible to arrive until about 9:50 pm. The vehicle gate closes automatically at 10 pm. Please note that this is only possible for guests who have made a reservation and who have informed the reception of their late arrival in order to receive some practical details.
2. Can I choose a pitch or an area?
When the reservation is made in advance, it is possible to request a specific area or pitch in the comment area. If we are unable to meet your request, we will do our best, depending on the availabilities, to offer you an equivalent alternative. These requests are not subject to any price reduction if they cannot be met.
3. Can I reserve a Stop&Go pitch?
Stop&Go sites are parking spaces with electricity (without water or drainage) reserved exclusively for motorhomes and vans. They are not accessible to tents and caravans and cannot be reserved in advance.
4. Can I rent a fridge on site?
Yes, it is possible to rent a refrigerator on site for any stay of 4 nights or more. If you wish to reserve one, please indicate this in the comments of your reservation or contact us at info@camping-lacdorient.com. We will then be able to confirm if we have any in stock for the requested dates.
5. Do I need a special electrical connection?
All pitches are equipped with 10A electricity. Our terminals are in accordance with European standards. To plug in, you need a European male plug. If you forget, you can buy one at the small supermarket of the campsite.
THE RENTALS
6. Are the rentals equipped with heating and air conditioning?
All our rentals are equipped with heating. As far as air conditioning is concerned, only the mobile homes in the Comfort and Premium ranges have it. It is not available in the Leisure, Classic, Chalets and Roulottes models.
7. What are the arrival and departure times?
Rentals are available from 4 pm on the day of arrival and must be returned clean by 10 am at the latest on the day of departure. A deposit of 150€ (300€ for the Premium models) is required upon arrival and will be returned after the inventory of fixtures. It is possible to arrive until about 9:50 pm provided that you have informed the reception beforehand.
8. Can I make a late departure in my mobile home?
Unless you book an extra night, it is not possible to give back the keys of your mobile home later the day of departure. Late departures are only possible for camping pitches and only in low season.
9. What should I bring for my stay?
Pillows and duvets are provided. If you have not rented any, please remember to bring bed sheets and towels. The kitchens are fully equipped with all the essentials for your cooking. You will also find a broom, a bucket and a mop in each rental. Be sure to bring a few sponges, dishwashing liquid and a little cleaning product for the final cleaning.
THE WATER PARK
10. Do you allow swim shorts in your pools?
For hygiene reasons, swim shorts are strictly forbidden in our water parks. Only swim trunks or boxer shorts are allowed. Young children must wear diapers specially designed for swimming.
11. What are the opening hours and dates of the pools?
The pools are open from 10 am to 7 pm daily. The outdoor pools are open from May 13 to September 10, 2023. The indoor pool is open from April 7 to September 23, 2023.

12. How do I book a stay?
You can book your stay in two or three clicks on www.camping-lacdorient.com. Just go to the home page, enter your dates and choose the type of accommodation or pitch you want. The reservation is fast and the payment by credit card is totally secure. If you don't want to book online, you can download the booking forms under the Useful Info tab, then Useful Documents. Please note that the reservation fees are higher than for online bookings.
13. How do I book a stay in a VILLATENT (large safari tents)?
Villatent is a Dutch operator with whom the campground works. You can book your stay in Villatent on www.villatent.nl
14. Which means of payment are accepted?
We accept the following means of payment: credit card, cash, bank transfer, French checks and vacation checks (physical or dematerialized). Please note, however, that only credit cards are accepted if there is a short delay between the reservation and the beginning of the stay.
15. Can I change or cancel my reservation ?
It is possible to modify or cancel your reservation under certain conditions, following the rules specified in our general conditions of sale which you can read here. Cancellations and requests to change dates must be made in writing. In case of disagreement, only a written confirmation from us will justify the good consideration of the request. Postponements can only be made for the current season.
16. When do I have to pay the balance of my rental ?
The balance of the rent must be paid at the latest one month before the stay. After two reminders and without any news, the stays for which the balances would not have been paid are automatically cancelled without refunding of the paid deposit and the rentals made available again for others.
THE SERVICES
17. Is there any entertainment on the campsite?
Entertainment is organized 6 days a week during the high season (July/August). The mini-club welcomes children from 6 years old.
18. Is there WIFI?
WIFI is available on the entire campsite. You can buy tickets for one or more devices, for one or more days, at the reception or by connecting to the campsite network.
19. Are there barbecues on the campsite?
Barbecues are allowed everywhere on the campsite provided you bring your own equipment as we do not rent them.
20. Are the bar, the restaurant, the mini-market and the swimming pools open in the low season?
Most of our services are open during the whole season, including the low season, but the hours may vary. Only the outdoor pool is not open during the whole season (open from May 13 to September 10, 2023).
21. How far away are the nearest shops?
You will find a Leclerc supermarket 10 km from the campsite (Lusigny-sur-Barse). For more specific needs, we are located 25 minutes from Troyes and its shopping areas.
MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS
22. Are animals allowed?
Cats and dogs are allowed in our campsite. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. They are not allowed near the swimming pools, in the food shops or in the buildings. Vaccination certificates for animals must be up to date and may be requested at any time.
23. Do you accept French VACAF vouchers?
No, we are not affiliated and are not authorized to take French VACAF vouchers.
24. Can minors book a stay?
Groups of minors are not accepted on the campsite and must be accompanied by an adult.
